Paris, France
Paris is also said to be romantic, and I can somewhat agree to that if you're talking about Paris by night. Paris is a very big city with lots of tourist attraction. We simply didn't have enough time to cover the whole city given the one whole day to spend there. We managed to visit the world famous Eifel Tower, the De Triomphe Arch, the Avenue Des Champs Elysees (equivalent to oxford street in london), La Decouverte Palace, De la Concorde Square (where Queen Marie Antionnette and her husband were beheaded), De L'Ouvre Museum, and the Notre Dame Church. We had lunch at the 'White M' McDonalds at the Avenue Des Champs, and I bought a miniature perfume for my friend at Sephora, the big, popular perfume store. De L'Ouvre Museum has the biggest collection of art stuff, and the highlight there is the original Mona Lisa painting. By the time we revisited the Eifel Tower, it was nearly the time for the group river cruise at 7.30pm. We had to choose either to go up the Eifel Tower, or the river cruise. I chose the latter, since we didn't manage to cover a lot of things during our tour by foot. And alhamdulillah, I'm glad I made that choice because Paris is, masya Allah, sooo beautiful at night! All the buildings were illuminated, it was like a magical city! The river cruise was far from boring, unlike the amsterdam one :-D. I would surely like to visit Paris again some other time if I have the opportunity.
